it looks like the fcc never noticed that i passed my 5wpm code test back in, what, 1992 or so. i could argue with them about it, but i think it would probably be easier to just take the test again somewhere.
so i checked the BARC web site to see if they're still doing monthly exams, and it turns out that they are. next one is a week from this monday.
and since the general ticket only requires 5wpm, too, i may as well brush up on those exam questions and take that test, too.
