productivity binge! at last, my basement is (slightly more) complete again!
i took friday off in the hopes that i could get a bunch of stuff done around the house. i spent friday and some of saturday washing, spraying, dehumidifying, and vacuuming the walls in the northwest corner of the basement. after the wall prep, i slapped a gallon of thick masonry paint on the walls in that corner, substantially brightening that whole section of basement. next step is to build some shelves to put in that area and stack a bunch of my stuff in the basement onto the shelves. not sure if i'll get it all done this weekend, but getting the walls painted was the thing blocking me.
things were a little delayed on saturday when i ended up spending about 4 hours playing poker after i entered a $10+1 multi-table NLHE tournament online and ended up placing 3rd (i choked a bit at the end and probably could've made 2nd) out of about 220 entrants for a couple of hundred bucks.
