Yay! I love the idea of instructables doing an adaptive technology related contest. And now they are!

Also, I read an interesting rumor about the next Half Life game (Half Life 2: Episode 3), which is that one of the things they may be focusing on is making games more accessible for hearing impaired folks. *Very* cool, if true.
(HL2:E1 had a design focus of "look what we can do with our new engine for light and visuals", HL2:E2 was all about unstructured large scale battle environments, and so now we have this as a possible design focus for HL2:E3)
