the bedroom's still not ready for painting, but there are functioning phones on the second floor, mostly because i got pissed off at the fact that they weren't working and made them work instead of finishing the caulking. grrr. i endedup having to run a new line down to the basement. an alexandrian solution to the gordian knot.
