i have seen 'raiders of the lost ark: an adaptation', and it was good. hell, it was incredible.

this is the shot-for-shot remake of the film that a bunch of kids made starting when they were 12 in 1982. it took them 7 years.

it's brilliantly cool.

it hasn't been commercially released anywhere, but the coolidge corner theater did a special screening. it was a double feature: first the original, then the remake.

they've done a few other film festivals and other special screenings, so it may come around to your neck of the woods some time.
