bringing class to online poker fandom...

BUMVERTISING.
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/240452_bumvertising13.html

After scrambling to create an Internet development business and engineer his own Web site for poker fans, Rogovy had lots of ideas but little cash with which to advertise them. Then, while staring at a panhandler's cardboard sign, the light bulb clicked on.

"So much traffic goes by these sign holders, I thought, 'Wouldn't it be cool if they could advertise themselves and me at the same time?' " he said.

because i'm sure he was doing a lot of engineering.

when I saw the term "bumvertising" I thought of advertising on peoples' buttocks. You know, like those sweatpants young women wear these days with the name of their college literally written on their ass.

yeah, that interpretation had occurred to me.

actually, i had also posted this somewhere else and i started the post with "no, not putting advertising on your backside..."

this kid should go to work for ... who is it? golden palace casino? the ones who buy things like the virgin mary grilled cheese sandwich and who pay for boxers to get tattoos of their logo before big fights.

You just know when this guy goes home, the button-down shirt comes off, and the backwards baseball cap and fraternity shirt comes on. Then it's GET DRUNK AND RIOT time.

Well, not on Mercer Island. He probably goes back to his old frat house for some hot date rape action.

... was that over the line? I can never tell.

Sound great, cause when people think of my company, I want them to think of a smelly homeless bum.

Do you work for Microsoft, AOL, or Halliburton maybe?
