Update on movies I don't want to see.

One of the films that, having read the description, I didn't think I wanted to see was "A Serbian Film". I just read an interesting review of it.

Because ten minutes in you realize what you are really watching is a recreation of the Serbian experience of the Balkan wars

Reading the wikipedia article on the film... yeah, actually, I can see that interpretation. Still don't think I want to see the film itself, tho.

Yep, there is it.

I'm officially laid off, last date of employment is Feb 28th of next year.

Which is slow enough that it's like watching the goodyear blimp crash. "OH GOD WE'RE GOING TO CRASH" "okay, let me get a cup of coffee, first."

ETA: Of course, if my manager leaves before that, I'm out of 'luck', as they will presumably decide to not lay me off. So, I have my fingers crossed that he finds something that starts no earlier than March...
