thank god she's at least got a cellphone now so i can text her instead of standing around my apartment forlornly flicking the light switch on and off for fun.
P left on Monday for Phoenix and won't be back until Monday night.

And the kid is at my folks' house, so I'm all alone here.
Instead of flicking the light switch, I call him on the cell and ask if he's enjoying his time with MOTHER SATAN. Apparently he is. He and his cousin went out and bought one of those Tupperware storage tub things to put ice and sodas into; they didn't pick up the lid to go with it. P's mother has been fretting about the lid all week. "Why didn't you get the lid? You really need to go down there and pick up the lid. That thing really NEEDS a lid. HOW CAN YOU STAND THAT BEING THERE WITHOUT A LID?"
You know, you could always come over to our place and play video games and/or join me in my new TV manias of House and CSI instead of doing the lightswitch thing.
You could come over to our house and we'll feed you dinner.
Tomorrow night around 6pm....my godson will be there with his family and probably Keshlam. If the weather cooperates, we're going to have the first BBQ of the season. (If it doesn't, we'll order pizza or something and play Set and/or Scrabble with the kids!) M
