*sigh*

my dad (the one without the glasses in that pic) is getting older.

every once in a while something happens to remind me of that. like today. he's okay, for now, but still. it's distressing.

He may be getting older, but he's obviously still FABulous.

I try to remind myself that getting older is definitely the better option of the two. May we all continue to get older for a good long time to come.

I misread the bit about the glasses, looked at the picture, and thought, "But it's the one without glasses who looks like regis!" Then I reread what you'd written...

Family resemblances are funny. I have trouble seeing mine to my parents, but other people who look at pictures of us don't.

I know, that whole "when did he get old"? thing is weird. I *know* my mom is going to be 74 next spring, but I don't think like that when I'm around her.

But don't worry--your sisters will be here for you for a LONG time (like you could get rid of us now)!
