question of my morning commute

am i too old to make a career change to becoming an evil supervillain? i'd probably need either some grad school or some really sharp minions.

or has KBR/Blackwater taken all the fun out of the field, anyways?

Won't work. You haven't made your bones. You need years apprenticing as a young immoral opportunistic hatchetman/bloodsucker. Joining the Young Republicans in college is a good way to get started; graduate work helps, typically as a neocon who is transparently dick-sucking his or her way into a mouthpiece (hah!) position for a so-called think-tank, but there ain't no substitute for mileage.

neocon republican villains are so boring. it's all about the banality of evil with them.

There's always opportunity for new and innovative evil supervillians.

I'm with [livejournal.com profile] sunspiral here. I think you could really find your calling outside of the regularly prescribed dose of villain. You, of all people, deserve to become something more unusual. And in a way no one would ever suspect. Sort of like that spy from WWII in England who kept telling everyone he was a spy and carrying secrets around for the KGB and no one believed him.

I think you have too many friends to ever qualify. Supervillians tend to be loner types. You could get plenty of minions but they would be opinionated and squabble amongst themselves. You'd spend all your time just keeping them sorted out and never get your evil plans off the ground.

My son started his evil overlord list when he was six. It's still posted on his closet door.

Nah, you have to feed something to the sharks-with-frickin-laser-beams when the heroes aren't there.

"I didn't go to evil medical school for nothing!"

What schools have grad programs in evil supervillinary? Identified any good potential advisors in that field yet?

Oddly enough, after a week vacationing at DollyWood, I'm thinking along the same lines.

Hm.

You need eyes with superpowers. Talk to Milo about that. If you have the Superhero Power Eyes, the Supervillain gig is instantly within your grasp.
