i feel like i've passed one of those "you must be this tall" things

so, clauclauclaudia and i are moving in together. (well, she's moving into my place which is now our place.) which means it's time for one of those scary quantum jumps in relationships.

we opened a joint checking account today. it's with the bank where we both have individual accounts, so we can each shift money into the joint account as needed.

it definitely feels like passing one of those "you must be this tall to ride the serious relationship roller coaster" things.

yeah, i happened to be working from home yesterday, so we went out in the afternoon and hit the bank.

which seemed easier than trying to get us up and out and able to sign financial papers on some saturday before noon (on those very occasional saturdays when i'm not on the cape)
