It's been a while since I mentioned books for soldiers. They are, unsurprisingly given the economy, hard up for money and looking for donations. Even if you don't want to jump through the hoops to become an 'official volunteer'[1], I'd encourage you to throw them a few bucks. They take paypal.

[1] due to privacy concerns, only "official volunteers" can access the part of the website with the names/addresses of folks serving overseas. To be an "official volunteer" you basically just have to send them a notarized statement saying that you're you and you won't do stupid things with the military folks' info.

Hey, Are you sending a package to them any time soon? I would love to go in on a box, but do not have the cope to set this up for myself. I have a few books I would like to offload. :-)
