mini update

so, i'm having the mini towed to a different (non-mini) mechanic later today to see what they can do as far as cobbling the mini back together from duct tape and parts or else helping with the dispensation of the corpse if not.

How many miles are on it? If it isn't too many you might consider picking up a used engine at a junkyard and having it put in.... you can probably be running again for about 2k.

yeah - i'm guessing it'll be a bit pricier for a new engine, but if it's under 3500 or so, i'll probably go for it.

talked to david gardner about it tonight.... he thought the engine would be closer to 1500 from a junkyard as they are rare........so 2500-3k for the job

yeah - that's the other alternative. luckily, i've still got the truck, so there's no time urgency for any of this.
