Hello, I don't believe we know each other but muffyjo asked me to stop by and provide feedback. My network back end is all Enterasys switches so we're using their NAC policy manager on both wired and wireless. It was quite a pain to get up and running but now that the kinks have been worked out and it's stable, it's pretty good.
We did an 802.1x implementation 2 jobs ago, Cisco hardware, but that was another era when it comes to tech. We were creating AD accounts for MAC addresses of wifi cards I believe. I wouldn't suggest it. :D
I'd say look at your existing wireless gear and see what NAC they support natively.
