yarr, dude.

So, a few years back I spent a bunch of time playing puzzle pirates which is a fun little mmorpg involving lots of puzzle games. I still muck around with it but mostly doing very casual short-time solo stuff.

They've just launched an ipad version (android is on the road map), which is a little weird because strange new controls, but also intruiging and fun. Yay!

I was hoping for actually varied games. I haven't decided if I like any of them on iPad yet but it is hard to tap on small spaces sometimes, I have missed on rigging once or twice. Haven't tried them all yet, though, or with a stylus.

yeah, the ui is kind of weird for some of them. I need to try some of this with stylus as well.

also, there's a bunch of bugs if you're a new pirate, particularly in carp and rig tutorials. (I created a new pirate ("ipadfoot") so as to not bork my rankings (such as they are) learning with a new ui.)

well, i did manage 'incredible' on sailing on the ipad, so i haven't completely lost my mojo with the transition to tablet controls.
