That is cool. It took me a while to figure out there is a third robot arm that is holding the camera (I think they intentionally show part of it for a second near the end).
In a sense, it's pretty simple, you model what the camera should see and then work out the projections to figure out what should be painted on the screens. The devil is in the details, though.
It seems like there'd be a problem in that anyone not standing at the camera location would see a much poorer version of the show.
