While it's become Veteran's Day (Thanks, veterans! I do wish my duly elected representatives treated you better.) over here in the US, in the UK, 11/11 is (still) Armistice Day. And there's quite an art installation in honor of it. Impressive, and I suspect quite moving in person.

When we were in London in August, it was only about half completed and it was breathtaking. I can only imagine what it looks like now that it has been completed. As G puts it, knee deep in blood.
