it's probably not a good thing that the power supply fan in my desktop machine has stopped spinning, right?

i'll just keep it off unless i need it (as opposed to leaving it around turned on) until i can swap in a new power supply.

i'd buy a new computer, but i did just blow entirely too much money on home entertainment cruft, so no more high tech toys for me for a while.
