(no subject)

yesterday (tuesday) was my last day at my job.
the day before that (monday), i discovered that most of my coworkers were unfamiliar with the term "penultimate".

next monday i start the new job.

in the mean time, it's a toss up -- will i prime part or all of the kitchen? the front room? the stairwells? tv room? will i finish paint any of these? or will i sit around loafing and playing Civ III?

really, it's a toss up. i'm hoping for a combination of the two, i think.

If you play Civ 3 and have any success on anything but the easiest skill level, let me know.

I like that game, but I really suck at it. If I play seven computer opponents, I'm usually somewhere in the middle of the pack at the time I give up. Usually around 1500.

I have the same problem with Civ III can only play on the easiest level.

It seems like I used to be able to at least graduate up one level...
