i've got a pdf (etc) reader in my pocket. what would i be glad to see?
So, it occurs to me that I've got a reader for PDF and other similar file types in my pocket these days. And a fair amount of space on the device as well.
What documents do folks find convenient to have on their portable devices? (I've currently got some technical manuals for personal and work-related stuff, so far.)

What I tend to do is, I have a remote repository (MobileMe in my case, but all sorts will work) and an app for accessing it (iDisk for MobileMe, GoodReader for many others). I set up a directory structure with all the PDF manuals for my consumer electronics in it. So I can find the manual for my TV set (including how to program the remote for a new gadget), my various game consoles, all sorts of things, when I need 'em.

I downloaded the Kindle app, and am starting to buy books in Kindle format.
I also have an audiobook from Boston Public Library's Overdrive subscription. They have a limited selection, but hey! audiobook!

I'm also using a comic book reader for some comics (Sandman, Neverwhere, a few others) though that is somewhat less satisfying.

For instance, I always confuse the rhyme schemes for the Shakespearean sonnet versus the Italian sonnet.
And if it ain't iambic pentameter, the odds of my remembering what it actually is are slim.
