productivity

I got a whole bunch of stuff done this weekend. Hooray!

• Washed the kitchen floor (including giving the boiling water treatment to particularly bad stains).
• Shampooed the area rug in the computer room (vacuuming had not been enough).
• Trashed some trash-worthy stuff out of the mugs/glasses cabinet and rearranged it to free up a whole bunch of space.
• Other cleaning and the fighting of entropy.
• And then I actually did some fun cruft: I finally got around to debugging the problem I'd been having with arduino-with-ethernet and then hacked together a thermistor-based temp probe and set it uploading the results to offhand so i can graph just how broad the hysteresis is in that room. (I'm not sure the actual temperature reading is accurate - it may be off a few degrees, but I figure I'm okay for now since I'm more interested in the range of the delta than the absolute temperature.) This also involved learning how to handle URL arguments, more string manipulation, and file handles with php, all of which is fairly trivial but which I hadn't done before.
