when i woke up, it was raining, and i listened to the gurgle of the raindrops hitting the house. but then it shifted to snow, and now it's snowing hard. big wet flakes falling heavily and sticking to the ground, the pavement, my truck, my hair, everything. it's not "carefully descending", it's coming down with a purpose. although in the area behind my house, there are enough strange air currents from all the houses and driveways and alleys that the snow is falling crazily, first one way, then another.
