I have not! It looks very pretty but I wasn’t sure if it had a happy ending but also didn’t want to read all the plot and be spoiled.

It has a happy ending! It takes a while to get there, and the middle third looks to be a tragic ending (then you get the screen telling you 'but wait, there's more'. Very twisty!

Oh whoa, is Ammonite based on the Nicola Griffith novel? I love her stuff so much!

Fair warning (at least for the books), Griffith doesn't get violent very often but when she does it's pretty intense.
