rmdso, we tried making fondue tonight. and we got tasty cheeses (half a pound each of three different kinds of cheese) and bread and apples and stuff and were making fondue but unfortunately the thing where the ingredients listing said 1 1/2 cups of white wine, and the directions said 1/2 cup, and we thought "oh, that must be a typo"?
it wasn't a typo.
it got better after i poured off about a cup of liquid, tho. but hey, melted cheese and bread and apples -- can't really go wrong there. and next time, i'll remember. NOT A TYPO.
