more fun with cold sores

okay, apparently, having so much fun at arisia stressed my immune system or something, because the cold sores have returned for an encore. *however*, this time i went to the drug store on the first day of the cold sore and asked the nice pharmacist what was available over the counter to help defeat the herpasaurus rex. he suggested "abreve", from glaxosmithkline.

so far, it appears to be working spectacularly. i'm still getting a bit of a blister, but it hasn't swollen up to the size of a grape and exploded leaving a nasty scab of dooooooom that would take a week to heal.
