I'd forgotten all about loompanics for years... and just remembered them around New Year's (when I was happy to find out they were still around). Damn them!

I managed to get my order in this morning when it was only mildly crazy. Halfway through, their servers slowed pretty close to a halt.

Bear in mind, with almost every book I looked at, if I did a google search on the subject, I found somewhat more up-to-date info. I love Loompanics for what they did and their politics, but a lot of those books are more relics than anything else these days.

yeah, a lot of the stuff is out of date. i filled out the "making weapons" and "making drugs" and "some weird conspiracy stuff" sections of my library with an order earlier today.
