the other night, i had a dream about a powerpoint presentation on IT management, including how to deploy dhcp, dns, and ftp services in an enterprise environment. something about unix administration in there, too.

ugh.

oy, i got started talking about some of the stuff that has pissed me off in other jobs (mostly dealing with impossible managers and conflict and such -- the sort of stuff computerworld puts in their "sharktank" column) and i realized that one of the things that's getting me really edgy about jobhunting is realizing i could end up in a job where that sort of thing is far more common than it has generally been for me.

bleah.

also, wow, there's still some stuff that's happened in the past that still has the power to get me frothingly pissed off. hello unresolved issues.
