piffle

oh piffle. my main desktop machine has gone dead again. i get power to the various parts of the chassis, but no beep or visible POST. i'm guessing the processor has come unseated, which happened once before when it was moved cross-country. i'll open the case up and reseat it and see if that fixes things. *sigh*

it happened just after i moved the case, so i figure it's a good theory for what's wrong.
