mystery solved

the other day, i came home from work early and noticed a substantial police presence on medford st around the corner from my house, with multiple news helicopters circling.

turns out, a demolition crew working in the house that burned a few months back discovered a hand grenade and so they called the cops. it wasn't a live grenade and nobody was hurt. but still, good that they erred on the side of cauting rather than picking it up and going boom.
