In between other fun, I went apple picking this past weekend, so now I have a bunch of apples. Yum! Fresh off the tree!

Anyone have a recipe they like for apple pie filling that is suitable for freezing? (freezing for about a month so i can have homemade apple pie around thanksgiving)

It must be autumn. I'm having the urge to do fall baking. i have to try that yummy homemade oreo recipe again. I haven't made fudge to bring into work in far too long, too.


Also, anyone know of QA/automation-testing jobs in the Portland, OR area? an old friend of mine out there just got laid off. I don't believe she's looking to relocate.

bloglines replacement?

also, bloglines is behaving unusually flakily for me. i mean, even for bloglines.

i like the bloglines UI when it works. but i'm wondering if maybe we should be seeing other people.

are there any other good *location independent* feed aggregators? i want to be able to maintain feed state among any of several machines. bonus points if it does the "keep as new" thing, too.
