immanetizing the shacking-up

muffyjo, the spare room has been monumentally cleaned and defragged and the things within condensed into more compact forms creating vast space for the rest of clauclauclaudia's stuff to arrive on monday. since we're planning on having that room become a low-cat-content area, i took advantage of all the empty floorspace to vacuum and shampoo the rug. so now the door is closed and the windows open and the fan on high to let it dry back out. the cats will be sad to be denied their favorite room for hiding out. but it'll be nice to have a room wherein the cats will neither shed nor hork.
i have a bit more work to do to make the path for movers even more clear of stuff, and to make some space for the few things going in the living room (either permanently or temporarily). but, for the most part, i'm ready for the move-in.
ETA: well, hm, looking at the weather report (thunderstorms and high winds), maybe i'll close the windows most of the way and then open them wide again tomorrow.
