stupid bgp sanity check
Mar. 18th, 2009 02:01 pmso, i haven't been elbow-deep in bgp for something like 8 or 9 years. quick question for the bgp-savvy masses: on a cisco, does the 'passive-interface' command block bgp updates? or just IGP broadcast/multicast kind of routing protocols such as RIP and OSPF? I think it does not block BGP, but I'm not sure.
thanks, doctor livejournal!
EDITED TO ADD: passive-interface is per routing protocol instance. so, yeah. of course it's not going to interfere with other protocols.
