clauclauclaudia and I had an enjoyable BARGE. My gf plays wicked good poker. My rental car did not get swept away in the flash-flood conditions that were quite impressive on Monday. Dramatic skies were very dramatic. Sunday night, we caught Penn & Teller's show, which happily contained way more new content than I'd expected. Also, afterwards I got to very briefly and politely fangirl at Teller over his "Tempest". (I posted here that I was getting tickets but I think I neglected to post that we went and it was brilliant - I've never seen a radical reinterpretation of Shakespeare that was so fundamentally grounded in the text. Prospero is explicitly a magician, so of COURSE there should be magic!)
I've started playing Ingress, on the green team. (C is on the green team, so domestic tranquility mandated that if I played, I should also be on the green team.) I'm level 5 now, playing very casually. We did have some fun in LV driving around to hack a bunch of unique portals, which is why I ended up leveling up faster than I otherwise would've.
I fucked up my upper back a while ago and am still recovering. Bits of muscle pain and nerve numbness, but slowly improving. I suspect I need more massage to untangle the muscles and stretch out the fascia or whatever.
