for a hobby, it's certainly exhausting
Jun. 12th, 2006 10:10 pmgot home at 6:30pm sunday night after the second day of sailing.
by 7:00pm i was drowsing in a recliner chair.
by 7:30 i was so sleepy it would've been unsafe for me to drive. then several of the cats took turns laying on my chest and using their magic kitty sleep spell.
i woke up a bit around 9 and it took a good 5 minutes of planning to drag myself out of the recliner at which point i staggered to the bedroom and fell dead asleep, my inner ear still kind wibbling as it attempted to reconcile a comparatively fixed frame of reference.

Date: 2006-06-13 01:04 pm (UTC)i was mostly just startled by the difference between a pleasant mellow day of sailing (not particularly tiring) and sailing hard under very windy conditions (exhausting).
