apparently, the ladies' event at the wsop is *huge*. they're into round 4 and there are still about 600 players left. also, a bunch of celebrity actresses apparently trying to emulate jennifer tilly's fabulous taste in accessories.

i know a couple of women playing in it, but no mention of them in the online updates yet. also, i'm amused that kathy liebert couldn't decide whether to play in this event or another event running and entered both. or so card player says at 14:30 pacific. (they'd previously said a PLO event, but now they've edited it to say a $1K NLHE event)

i'm kind of bummed i couldn't make it out there for this year's, but oh well.

yeah, i knew she was out there for it. she's one of the folks i was thinking of. no pictures up there, so i don't get to see if she's wearing that hat (is it an asshat or just a donkey hat?)
