my little gray cat is sick. loose stool with some bright red blood in it. just a bit, so i'm hoping it's just a kitty roid or something, but enough that i've cancelled my plans for the day and will be taking her to the vet in a few hours.
poor little thing. she doesn't know it, but she's about to suffer the CLEANING OF THE DIRTY CAT BUTT. haw haw haw.
UPDATE: so, it looks like it might be just minor digestive issues. if she's fine tomorrow, no worries. if she has problems tomorrow, i have drugs for her and will call the vet monday to say "dude, wtf". they've got a stool sample off to the lab as well to make sure it's not a parasite thing.

Date: 2006-12-02 05:36 pm (UTC)this was a bit more worrying -- clearly loose stools with blood in a bit on the floor (they're all usually really good about keeping litter box activities in the litter box), and some dirty cat butt issues. i've got a 1:15 appt over in everett, so i'll know more later today.
she's generally active and social, although she's doing a bit more hiding in small spaces than usual, but some of that may be due to having had the trauma of cleaning earlier today.
