I always imagined I would have to move to Zone 5. I never imagined Zone 5 would come to me.

It's 66 in New Hampshire and raining. We have a new crop of geese as of this morning. We never have geese in January. When they flew in they looked like they were walking on water as they wandered around in the inch of water on top of the ice on the ponds.

No kidding! We still have lettuce and parsley in the garden, and only the sparrows are bothering with the birdfeeder. I forgot to move my lotus in from the fishpond in the fall, but at this rate, it won't matter. We haven't had more than a crust of ice.
