an extra-long long weekend

rmdthings i didn't do this past weekend-plus-some-days:
things i did do this past weekend-plus-some-days:
socializing. productivity. sloth. apparently i could only pick two, but i'm okay with the choice this past weekend.
other interesting links i've come across in the past few days:
californian training architecture (think "hogan's alley", or "laser tag course"), heathrow to have robot cabs, captioned pidgin-english photos[1] mashed up with rocky horror picture show
[1] short shameful confession: whenever i see "icanhascheeseburger", i keep almost reading it as "icannhascheeseburger" and momentarily wonder if it's some dns-architecture-related protest or parody.
- go to work thursday or friday (planned time off).
- go to any of several bbq-type gatherings
- do much cooking or baking

- substantial house-cleaning
- substantial outcrufting (7 garbage bags of stuff to goodwill!)
- bagged two barrel-fulls of cruft from the pile of random trash under my carport (a partial outcrufting can be a bad thing)
- watched a bunch of movies
- had substantial sloth
- watched the somerville memorial day parade
- went to see kjc007 and ceciliatan read from a book of poems at "out of the blue" gallery in central square
- went to the cape on saturday to hang with my folks

Yeah, seems the world is a bit slow to adapt some technologies. :)
