Date: 2002-03-24 04:16 pm (UTC)i'm guessing the trick is to 1. make sure the other couple knows what's on the "don't fuck with this list" you gave to tlc (you get to list things that you don't want changed, like "don't paint the fireplace"), and 2. make a sacred pact that if things are Way Too Fugly you will all work together to make it not suck.
the british show is better because it's less about the designers egos and more about doing stuff the homeowners actually will like.
