rmdokay, "moulin rouge" earned the costume award, but art direction? buh! and "memento" got robbed for screenplay. ("gosford park" was nice, but really, it was just an entire season of "upstairs downstairs" packed into a feature length film compared to "memento")
but hey! halle berry and denzel washington! all good! although now i'm thinking about the "black acting school" skit in "hollywood shuffle"
