while much of the country was obsessed either with the obamagasm or waiting for the announcement of the first american caliphate, heartland announced the biggest credit card number breach ever. most interestingly, it's due to malware in their payment processing system rather than someone losing a laptop full of data or a station wagon full of unencrypted backup tapes.
