Whoah! I finally got around to watching the bsg web episodes. Good stuff and Gaeta's motivation for getting all freaked out is kind of understandable.

Yeah, I think it would have felt kind of rushed without the webisodes.

Too bad they shot them after they shot the series... they didn't really get to follow up on his relationship with Hoshi, which felt a little odd.

Haven't watched those yet, maybe I can do it while in Chicago this week.

I do think though that the plot really has gone off into la-la land. Pretty much ever since they left New Caprica; it's been getting hard to believe. Which is too bad; it was a pretty good show. Lately though it's a lot more like "Dark Star" (and we're out of toilet paper....)

I hope neither of these comments provide enough information to be spoilers, but I have two comments

a) Given their crisis, why did they open the door?

b) What if everything he was told at the end was a lie, intended to produce the response that it did?

I think that Ron Moore mentioned in one of the podcasts that these webisodes were shot just before the struck the sets.
