Yay awesome women on motorcycles! Bessie Stringfield (http://home.ama-cycle.org/forms/museum/biopage.asp?id=277) was also made of awesome, with awesome sauce on top. African-American, toured the Deep South alone on a motorcycle back in the days of Jim Crow.
