Huh. I had thought it was up to 10 days rather than "perhaps as long as 2 weeks". Their suggested limit on food prep by people who've had noro is just 3 days after symptoms, tho, so I suspect an exponential decay after 3 days, leading to Zeno's communicability or something.
Interesting. I went back and checked. CDC has updated their guidelines as of 2011 and now say 3 days after cessation of symptoms. They don't have anything definitive on how long a person's infection generally lasts.
Two weeks?

Date: 2012-01-27 01:44 pm (UTC)I've had pneumonia before where I didn't feel all that sick but just getting showered and dressed would make me want to go back to bed.
Have you had Mono? It can be pretty mild but lingering. How's yer spleen?
I suggest a weekend in bed with whatever cheesy, mindless entertainment you prefer and healthy-ish snacks.
