We've had to have bees removed from our house. And when we remodeled the kitchen, we discovered that behind the drywall/plaster&lath, there were several spaces between studs that were filled floor to ceiling with ancient honeycombs. That part of the house is nearly 200 years old so those honeycombs could have been really ancient...
