It's not just the Internet that's made of cats.

A Minneapolis art museum had 10000 people attending its internet cat video festival. There's a youtube playlist of videos included. Some big winners were Henri 2: Paw de Deux and The Engineer's Guide to Cats and of course Maru. I heard from someone who was there that Boots and Cats went over quite well with the crowd. It's a bit more danceable than the Kitty Cat Dance. Looking over the playlist, I'm amused by the Live Action Nyan Cat Original here for context. Some videos, of course, involved kittens being cute.

Somewhat relatedly, I discovered someone mirrored the rathergood.com viking cat video. link.

Not as far as I know. There is a surveillance video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Oh5GHcIdA8) on youtube of me sleeping while cats crawl all over me

Oh, the title of the post is a sort of play on the They Might Be Giants song "Youth Culture Killed My Dog".

Very cool!!! Thanks for sharing. (As for cute kittens, I loved the vid with the dancing British shorthairs. Not that they really danced much, but they could keep time with whomever was moving the focus-mouse about!)
