Not musical theater, but chess.

The Queen's Gambit, on Netflix, is totally worth watching. Only seven episodes, so not a huge commitment.

It's a little bit Hallmark, except with swearing and sex and drugs and suicide.

The NYT says the writers got a *LOT* of things right about the chess world that most examples of chess in fictional media get wrong.
