brazil won the world cup. i know this because there is much honking and celebration around the corner from my house. not obnoxiously so, merely celebratorily so.

Yes, Brazil won the world cup several years ago, too, and Brighton was a madhouse. Not obnoxiously so, but there were people honking and celebrating all over the place, wearing flags as capes, etc. Nice to see folks enjoying themselves.

i first knew they won when i saw a car with a huge brazilian flag flying out the window of the car, i've always loved their flag.
