Definitely get the fine blade, and only use it for fine work. Also, my favorite trick for fine work with any variety of powered blade is to use a strip of Artist's Tape (The smooth white masking tape kind) applied over the cut line to prevent tearout. Works like a charm, reduces cleanup to almost nothing. Requires a slightly quirky spatial sense to consistently get right on miter cuts. You'll see what I mean.
