rmdthere was something on my kitchen floor that was vaguely sticky, so i got out the extra strength pure ammonia and poured some on the floor and mopped and then rinsed with very hot water.
but i loathe the amazing stink of highly concentrated ammonia, so i did all that while wearing my paint respirator.
